A bit about me.
As an integrative therapist, I use various Relational, Psychodynamic, Humanistic and CBT skills and techniques to best support you and your individual needs. I have also received specialised trauma training including a Level 7 in trauma, EFT, EMDR and The Rewind Technique.
Effective treatment can result in meaningful and lasting changes.
The work I do is one-to-one (with younger adults, adults, older adults), with couples and groups in my private practice in rooms in Richmond. Sessions would usually take place at the same time, on an agreed day of the week for 50 minutes each session. The therapy can be face-to-face short-term, long-term, open-ended or time-limited. This would depend on your needs and is discussed in the consultation session.

The Process
Once you have decided to contact me for psychotherapy, I will email you back to arrange a consultation session. When a consultation time has been agreed between us, we meet up either online or face to face at my therapy rooms in Richmond and discuss what may be going on for you and what you feel you would like support with. This is when some questions are asked to gain some understanding of your current concerns and for you to ask any questions you may have. If you decide to continue your psychotherapeutic journey with me, we arrange a time for either short or long term weekly sessions.
Contact me, Lorna Francis, to arrange an initial introductory phone call and/or a consultation session.
